Stripe Payments is a developer focused payment processing platform. It allows platforms to transfer money from a customer's bank account to your business account using a credit or debit card transaction.
Founded in 2010, Stripe now powers the operations of some of the biggest brands on the market, including Shopify, Wix, Xero, Squarespace, Lyft, Deliveroo, Airtasker, Zoom, and Pinterest. With the ability to trade 135 currencies, it is a common solution for companies doing business internationally.
Stripe has a tremendous amount of potential power under its hood, powerful REST API, heaps of webhooks, super useful documentation and a good hacker community. However, not everyone will have the resources (or even the needs) to use everything they can do. At Feather, we handle all the integration for you so you can start charging your clients right away.

Simply click here, Login if not already logged in. Select your country, if not selected before. Click the "Connect to Stripe" button. You will be redirected to Stripe. Go through the secure payment verification process and fill in the requested information.
You can always come back to this screen to update your information such as personal details, business details and bank details.
Once this step is out of the way you can start publishing your content and chose your price. You will see the 'Pricing' section activated when you are scheduling a new event or uploading a new video collection.
Your customers can see all your paid offerings on your Feather link (fth.re/yourname). They can pay the price you set to access online meeting details or the videos in your collection.
If they already have saved payment card details, this is just a button click.
If they are a first time customer, then they are redirected to Stripe to enter their card details.
After the payment, they can see your name in their bank statement.
The availability of payment depends on several factors, such as the industry and country in which you operate and the associated risks. When you start processing live payments from your customers with Stripe, you will receive your first payout in 7-14 days after receiving your first successful payment. The initial payment usually takes a little longer to set up your Stripe account. Processing of subsequent payments is triggered every Monday according to Feather's payment schedule, but there may be some delays depending on your bank and country of residence.
