Zoom is a cloud-based video conferencing service that you can use to meet others virtually, with video only or audio, or both, during live chat, and it allows you to record these sessions for later viewing.
You can schedule a meeting for the future and get a unique meeting link to share with the people you want to invite to the meeting. This task is straightforward most of the time, but when running an online zoom business, it can be time-consuming to have dozens of meetings to schedule and share weekly. At Feather, we handle all the integration for you so you can start organizing meetings for your clients right away.
We partner with Zoom to support your recurring scheduling task and grow your online business with just a few clicks. Simply click here and login if not already logged in. Select your country, if not selected before. Click the "Connect to Zoom" button. You will be redirected to Zoom. Go through the secure installation process and proceed according to Zoom instructions.
You can always come back to this screen to refresh your Zoom access.
Once this step is out of the way, you can start scheduling your upcoming events. You will see the 'Generate a New Zoom Meeting' checkbox under the 'Streaming Service' section when you are scheduling a new event.
This will automatically create a unique Zoom Meeting for the event. Also, our deep integration automatically updates the Zoom meeting every time you update the event name, date or time.
With Feather, you will never have to follow Zoom links again. Our platform cleverly hides the Zoom link under a mask of fth.re. This is required for our auto attendance feature and to protect your meeting from being occupied by users without a valid ticket.
You can always access your events details in your dashboard and your Feather link. Your customers need to pay whatever price you set to access the meeting details. They can see all your upcoming events on your Feather link (fth.re/yourname) and click on one to see the event details page.
On the event details page, they will be asked for the payment. If they are already your customer with previously saved payment card details, it's just a click of a button. If they are a new customer, they will be directed to Stripe to enter their card information. If you want to learn more about our Stripe integration, click here.
After payment, the meeting details will appear on this page, and the customer also receive a calendar invitation email with your event details. However, there is no need to save any of these details. Your customers can always come back to your Feather link (fth.re/yourname) to see for which event they have already paid.
